When a fabric this special crosses our paths, we want to yell about it from the rooftops. This new fabric, part of Drago's uber-premium "Skyfall" collection, is a blend of 14.5 micron wool (more on that below) and silk. Its unique weave and construction gives it a lofted nature that is full of buoyancy, texture and spring. It substantial enough to drape beautifully and resist wrinkling, but at the same time is not overly bulky or stiff, as many winter fabrics can be. And last but certainly not least, this cloth is really good looking. The perfect blazer for all your fall and winter needs.
FABRIC AND TRIMS:
- This fabric is part of Drago's Skyfall Collection, which is their most premium range (that says a lot, considering how high end Drago's fabrics are across the board). All wool from this collection is collected from lambs on one small farm in Australia, making it sustainable and traceable. The quality is 14.5 microns, making it finer and softer than any of the superfine wools (super 120s, super 130s, etc.). It's fine diameter and texture are the wool equivalent of cashmere, but with higher strength and a (relatively) lower price tag. And to take it to the next level of softness, they've even added in a touch of silk fiber.
